Tzununá, located 1.2 miles (2km) east of San Marcos by a paved road has seen a bit of a gringo incursion in recent years. But this Kaqchiquel village ('Hummingbird of the Water') still retains a strong indigenous character and a lush natural beauty with year-round rivers springing from forested mountain slopes that inspired us to create this design.
