Bamileke Beaded Shields (Armor).

These beautiful Geometric pattern and shaped shields come from the Bamileke people of Cameroon. Handcrafted with glass beads, twine rope and decorated with cowrie shells.

The back has a Thick wooden handle on the inside for gripping.

Traditionally these shields were used as defensive weapons and decorative objects, Symbolizing Status and Wealth.
