Today, our in-house sewing group is made up of 2 men and 4 women. Most of our fabric is bought and up-cycled from the surplus in the local market. If you ever find yourself at our homebase in Gonaives, joyful singing and laughter can often be heard in conjunction with the hum of the sewing machines. It is one of our very favorite sounds!</div><div></div><div>Josias is our local screen-printer who makes our word patches. His method involves taking the design and transferring it to his DYI screen using emulsion and a few long minutes exposed to the Caribbean sunshine.
