Tarapi Earrings - Crappie Fish
INGA & KAM√ãNT·πA COLLECTION: Kalusturinda, the carnival of forgiveness. Inspired by the Inga's and Kam√´nt·π°a's indigenous people located in Putumayo, southwest Colombia.
INSPIRATION: Putumayo, in the southern Colombia region, is a land full of water bodies, and the Putumayo river is one of the most important ones. From this river, several communities fish their food, and the crappie, or tarapi in inga language, is one of their favorites. The Tarapi earrings are a design that symbolizes this fish.
MATERIAL:
All our metal parts are handmade in brass and are 24K gold plated with a matte finish. All stud earrings have surgical steel postback. Cotton weaving is made by Inga and Kamëntsá indigenous people in Putumayo, Colombia.
WEIGHT:
Each earring weighs 3.1 grams, plus 15 grams of packaging.
