Artisan Project is a collective led by Nina Mohammad - a Palestinian textile designer from Los Angeles, USA.
Nina has spent over a decade living in Morocco where she discovers, vets and integrates talented artisans, makers, distributors and creatives into AP to offer insightful access to Moroccan crafts.
The core values of Artisan Project are honesty, fairness, transparency and achieving the highest quality.
An Arabic speaker, Nina can open doors to regions and unique craftspeople which would otherwise remain hidden.
The studio offers everything from sourcing trips to product development and production support, with artisans specialising in textiles, natural fibers, pottery and wood to create everything from carpets, blankets and towels to lighting, furniture and decorative accents.
Special trips can be arranged to source vintage & antique items, tailored to budget and project scale. Cleaning and restoration of aged products can be arranged depending on availability of specialists and condition of a one-of-a-kind piece.
All ventures are overseen by Nina and the right group of partners are selected to deliver project goals and optimise client time and budget.
Artisan Project also offers an in-house collection of textiles and vintage carpets.
