Judith Tello developed her fascination for jewelry from her multiple life experiences in Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and Latin America. Having initially ventured into the world of jewelry by using ancient Venetian and African beads (trade beads), the designer gradually moved into the realm of fine & semi-fine jewelry, and decided to celebrate global multicultural diversity. To do this, she broadened the scope of her inspiration by focusing on different cultures around the globe in each of her collections. This led to the definition JOT's motto & mission: "Blending Global Cultures”.

JOT's highly skilled Colombian jewelers strive to craft a sumptuous harmony between gold, silver and gold-plated bronze (24k), with precious and semiprecious stones - natural pearls – or colorful high quality leathers that imitate exotic species. The result is that of truly unique pieces that add a note of culture, creativity, color and luxury to life.

JOT's One Moon collection was recently unveiled in Bogota Fashion Week – 2022. The new collection includes jewelry designs inspired in cultures as diverse as the Yoruba, Dinka and Nuer tribes of South Sudan, and the nomadic peoples of the Red Sea.
