In Vitro is a thirty-year-old company that has focused on the training of artisans in different craft techniques for the production of fine and beautiful objects of export quality using the following materials: ceramics, glass, recycled materials, wood, natural and synthetic fibers, hand made paper. The company also trains the artisans in the aspects of shop management, better production practices, and all the necessary digital tools for keeping inventories, placing orders, and developing systems for costing and pricing.
In Vitro works with over 50 artisans based in rural communities of Honduras who support and educate their families with the income they make from their production of fine craft. They have artisans whose children and now grandchildren have been trained and are working at In Vitro thus continuing the family tradition and passing on the valuable and sometimes endangered ancient craft techniques.
