Modern and practical, in this collection you will find the "salad server" and two sizes of "tssting spoons". For day to day use in the kitchen, taste approved! These spoons are the story of an artisanal method that took years to perfect in a traditional carving workshop in Marrakech. They are handmade by independent artisans. The wood comes from old walnut trees that no longer produce fruit and are cut down to be replaced by young trees. The fruit of the walnut tree brings in more income than the wood itself. It's the way to be sure that we use sustainable resources. Made in Morocco, organic walnut wood.

At first glance you are not sure what it is. Alludes to antique oil lamps and reproduces the gesture of putting out a a burning wicker with a candle snuffer. The marble base holds a tea-light candle, the frosted glass shade casts a soft ambient light. When extinguishing the candle by placing the marble sphere on top you get a sculptural piece.

Garlic gourds are made using a raw material called Ilala Palm. Ilala Palm weavers in Matabeleland, Zimbabwe are well known for baskets such as Garlic Gourds which are popular conversation starters and quirky sculptural pieces.<ul>

Sally's Collection - Storage PotsThese unique storage pots or baskets are created from repurposed discarded fast fashion. The second hand clothing industry known as Salaula (hence the name Sally’s Collection) keeps many people in the informal sector here in Zambia in business. However from every bale there are always pieces that don’t get sold. These are collected and resold for less but even these traders have pieces they can’t move. These are the pieces we buy. They are painstakingly washed, cut into strips and wrapped around acrylic fluﬀ to form coils that are wound into traditional African pot shapes. The result are stunning, colorful, textural and completely individual baskets ideal for storage, to hold plants or as decor statement pieces.Note : Due to the nature of the material being used it is impossible to make any two products exactly the same.<ul>
<li>Color shades can be requested as identified but even these will vary from one to another.</li>
<li>We can usually oﬀer a wide variety of color shades we are unable to provide large quantities in any one shade due to the random nature of the leftover materials.</li>

This 23 inch hand-crafted basket showcases the textures and rich natural hues of Zambia. Each stunning basket is crafted by the Tonga women of Zambia's Southern Province and takes 4 days to make. Please note that there may be slight variations in size and design. The plant-based dyes used in this item may have a mild odor that will fade within a few days.
