Wild Vase
Mixing paja tetara straw and chamba ceramics, two very traditional materials in Colombian handicrafts, the stunning Salvaje cover vase is a feat of design and craftsmanship. The vase is composed of a base made by hand using chamba ceramics, an endemic red clay colored by means of different open burnishing, by artisans from La Chamba, a traditional potter town in Tolima. The base is then covered by a latticed palm-woven design, handmade by artisans from the Eperara Siapidara ethnic group from the indigenous reservation of Guangui in Timbiquí, in Colombian Cauca. This is the perfect piece to pick out the dullest glass and plastic containers and bring out the floral creations at home. each wild vase is 100% handmade, the small differences between each object are part of its production and are not considered defects.
