Story
Mixing weaving with natural fibers and chamba ceramics, two very traditional techniques in Colombian handicrafts, the stunning Salvaje Planter is a feat of design and craftsmanship. The vase is composed of a base made by hand using chamba ceramics, an endemic red clay colored by means of different open burnishing, by artisans from La Chamba, a traditional potter town in Tolima. The base is then woven with a recycled plastic fiber by artisans from the Eperara Siapidara ethnic group from the indigenous reservation of Guangui in Timbiquí, in Colombian Cauca. Each wild planter is 100% handmade, the small differences between each object are part of its production and are not considered defects.
