Handwoven in the village of Katia, this bedspread is a small batch of only two. Katia is a weaving village in Northern C√te d'Ivoire that specializes in striped indigo motifs. Motif Sira Bak√©l√© means tarred big road and is the weavers interpretation of the paved roads that connect the small villages across the Savanes. These cloths are hand dyed and some transfer onto lighter colors may occur.
