Story

Perfect natural table mats to protect your tabletops from watermarks, hotpots and hot plates. Comes in a set of 2 and is made with intricately woven Sabai grass which is a perennial grass that is hand cut, sundried, & plaited & handstitched painstakingly by rural women of West Bengal & Odisha. We have partnered with KADAM-HAAT (a member of FAIR-TRADE FORUM of INDIA) that works directly with the craftswomen of the region supporting rural communities to self-sustain themselves. About 60 households are working only in Sabai grass now, making their ends meet through this project.
