Story
Maíz is the Spanish word for Corn. In the San Bartolo murals, there is a cave and inside it, kneeling directly over the gigantic snake, a woman is seen offering a basket of tamales, one of the earliest known examples in Mayan art.
The backside of the pillow is solid black cotton fabric.
Woven on a backstrap loom by women in the highlands of Guatemala.
