Story

Our Jaspe collection is an attempt to emulate the Guatemalan traditional weaving technique of "Jaspe" in cotton, but with wool as a new way to revive ancient techniques.

Each weaving is created by talented artisans from Momostenango, a small town in the mountains that preserves the ancient technique of “pepenado” on a pedal loom. The leatherwork is commissioned to a workshop run by women in San Pedro Sacatepequez.

Handwoven using natural wool from sheep, treated to ensure durability and water resistance grade in our facilities in Guatemala City.
