Glass Dip Platter

Story

This beautiful glass dip platter is intentionally designed using upcycled glass bottles. Featuring a subtle ridge, this platter is perfect for holding your favorite dip, sauce, or cheese.

Waste management in such a remote part of Zambia is a huge challenge so we decided to combine our love for art, our knowledge in craft and our will to contribute to the recycling process in the South Luangwa Valley where we live. In 2018, we built a recycling centre and trained local artisans to upcycle excess glass bottles into a beautiful range of glass home decor products, providing a creative solution for the ongoing waste management problem in the fragile environment that surrounds us.

Crafted by the artisans from our Glass Recycling Workshop, these cheese platters are made from glass bottles recycled from our local community. Each glass dip platter has unique color variations due to the materials used, making each piece unique in its own special way.
