Hands, hearts, and minds collaborate in the Artisan Project. Our ethos is to honor Moroccan artisanship, improve the lives of craftspeople and their families and ensure hand-weaving skills continue to thrive. From knotting and weaving to cleaning and finishing, our weavers oversee every part of the process and reinterpret our designs using age-old techniques and only using the most natural wools and dyes. Every textile has a life cycle that’s deeply connected to the land. AP textile sourcing journeys encompass the undiscovered, authentic, and unexpected elements of Morocco. Fluent in Arabic, Nina is a textile designer who has lived and worked in Morocco for over a decade, weaves unforgettable encounters and conversations through every sourcing trip, from accessing villages and souks where westerners rarely venture to meeting weavers in their workshops, or women traders in mountain souks.
