The story of RoHo began with its founder, Caleigh Hernandez, who discovered a pair of beaded leather sandals in an East African craft market and was instantly captivated. This encounter sparked a year-long journey to find the finest sandals in the region and establish a global marketplace for them. After extensive searching, Caleigh arrived in coastal Kenya, where she crossed paths with Lydia and her remarkable team of 42 artisans. This meeting marked the foundation of RoHo, and since then, the company has flourished, collaborating with four artisan groups throughout Kenya and expanding its presence both online and in various independent stores across the country.
