This vintage Beniouaräin carpet is one of a kind, and 20 to 30 years old.
It bears the name of its origin, one of the oldest confederations of Berber tribes of the Middle Atlas.
Its dominant color is white which takes on golden highlights over time. The motifs of the carpet are the signatures of each tribe, the Beniouaraïn carpet refers to the identity and specificities of each Berber clan, but behind the varied motifs are hidden many messages and learned formulas ... only known by the women artisan.
