This handmade silk cocoon wall hanging is an ethereal representation of a full moon's shimmery reflection in the water. Our project is located in the coastal rainforest of Madagascar, where this scene shines bright over the ocean on clear nights. This piece is handcrafted from mulberry silk cocoons that are steam-ironed flat, sewn together, and then shibori and dip-dyed. Comes with a bamboo pole for easy hanging.
