The Stella Green is inspired by the Op art artist Frank Stella's geometric and striped works. Work resonates with the craft of Rajasthani tie dye called 'Leheriya', mashed up the two values to create a pattern that boasts of a myriad of colours. The special feature about this design is that it is made entirely out of two very basic striped blocks that are rotated in different ways to create the illusionistic stripes and overlays. This is a handmade product. Irregularities are a distinctive part of the design. Each textile is thus, unique with its own little glitches - love them and celebrate them as nuances of the craft.
