Kaiyare came into existence when Anvitha Prashanth and Nikitha Satish discovered their shared passion for sustainable living. Anvitha, the founder director of Go Native, a chain of organic farm-to-table restaurants and conscious-living stores in Bangalore, and Nikitha, known for her own label, Dori, which collaborates with Ilkal weavers in North Karnataka, joined forces. Together, they embarked on a journey to explore diverse textiles and craft a range of women's wear dedicated to the principles of sustainability and livelihoods, while also celebrating and preserving India's rich craft traditions.
