This peculiar mug is inspired by a hen (as you can see in the Ch'ail Jar) with her chicks. Ch'ail mugs have the unmistakable white finish of Amatenango del Valle, where Mari, Esperanza and their family work hard to develop new shapes and processes, keeping alive the pottery tradition of their community.
