The conical storage basket was created by a new team member trying to make a cylinder basket for the first time! As she was making it, the shape became more and more tapered in as she went along. And it turned out to be a beautiful conical shape! We loved it so much, that we've done this shape in almost all our colourways and added them all to our catalogue!

Use this basket as a pot plant holder, or for storing kitchen utensils, hand towels, bathroom accessories, baby products, miscellaneous items or pretty much anything else that needs to be stored away neatly!

Mia Mélange baskets are made from 100% cotton rope which we carefully sew together in a coiling technique. The cotton is grown locally in South Africa by farmers who are members of the Better Cotton Initiative (BCI).
