Tugtu Earrings - Carnival Flower
INGA & KAM√ãNT·πA COLLECTION: Kalusturinda, the carnival of forgiveness. Inspired by the Inga's and Kam√´nt·π°a's indigenous people located in Putumayo, southwest Colombia.
INSPIRATION: During the Carnival of Forgiveness, celebrated by both the Inga and Kamentsä indigenous people, the celebration begins with the throwing of flowers by the attendees. In the meantime, those who had any disputes during the year trying to solve them. This flower is known as Tugtu.
MATERIAL:
All our metal parts are handmade in brass and are 24K gold plated with a matte finish. All stud earrings have surgical steel postback. The beads are woven by Inga and Kamëntsá indigenous people in Putumayo, Colombia.
WEIGHT:
Each earring weighs 1.4 grams, plus 15 grams of packaging.
