Story

INGA & KAM√ãNT·πA COLLECTION: Kalusturinda, the carnival of forgiveness. Inspired by the Inga's and Kam√´nt·π°a's indigenous people located in Putumayo, southwest Colombia.

INSPIRATION: The design of this ring seeks to highlight the fabric of the chumbe (sash that protects the female belly). Each of the figures, embodied by the women of these communities, has ancestral meanings that have been passed down from generation to generation, and after years of learning, they continue to weave them so as not to forget their history. Unfortunately, some meanings have been forgotten and that is why we must protect them. In Maituska ring means wrapped, since the fabric wraps the finger.

MATERIAL:

All our metal parts are handmade in brass and are 24K gold plated with a matte finish. Cotton weaving is made by Inga and Kamëntsá indigenous people in Putumayo, Colombia.

WEIGHT:

The ring weighs 8 grams, plus 15 grams of packaging.
