Founded in 2010 by two sisters, Colleen and Maggie Clines, Anchal is a KY-based social enterprise making sustainable, heirloom-quality fashion and home goods that support the economic empowerment of 181 female artisans in Ajmer, India. All of our pieces are handmade using organic cotton or vintage saris. Our art-inspired textiles harmonize the traditional craft of Kantha stitching with modern design, and each piece is personally hand-signed by the female artisan who made it.
We have creatively partnered with Anthropologie, the Guggenheim Museum Store, Brooklinen, Urban Outfitters, West Elm, Bloomingdale's, Nordstrom, and Madewell. Additionally, Anchal products have been featured in Harper's Bazaar, Vogue, Forbes, Better Homes & Gardens, Architectural Digest, and HGTV.
